The summer gathering was held this past August in Vancouver at Chaldecutt Park, near UBC. We had 6 families attend on a lovely summer day. The park was a great venue as it allowed the kids and adults to entertain themselves at the playground and water park while the rest of us chatted. The children ranged in age from 18 months to mid-twenties so we had a diverse group. We also had fun with bubbles and face painting. We hope to have this event each summer and if others have any parks in mind that would be a good venue and closer to more families (Burnaby or New Westminster?), please let us know!
